Today is the start of a new journey for me, after completing the necessary course work to obtain my masters in special education I am begining my experience as a student teacher. While I am very excited for this portion of my education, I am also very nervous. I got very little sleep last night and have knots in my stomach, I still maanged to keep my breakfast down, lucky me.
I guess to understand this blog and to understand me you should know a little about me. I am on my second career, my first was as a retail buyer. In the past eight years I have been out of the work force and have dedicated myself to raising my children, well that and obtaining my masters degree. My kids are the light of my life, and why I made the decesion to go back to school. I have seven year old triplets, one has aspergers, one is a selective mute and one has sensory issues. In addition I have a 24 year old son that lives in MO.
So here I am the mom of an adult child and of three young children going back to school to obtain my masters in special education. My dream is to work with autistic children...
